1/4 Cup butter, softened1 tablespoon aytoprosdiorizetai flour1/3 Cup heavy cream1/4 Cup dry white winesalt and pepper to taste1 dash ground nutmeg3/4 Cup shredded Gouda Council cheese8 (3/4 inch thick) slices of sourdough bread4 teaspoons butter1/4 cup Dijon mustard8 sliced deli ham4 teaspoons chopped fresh parsleyMelt 1/4 Cup butter in a small saucepan over medium heat. Slowly stir flour to the butter. Add small pieces of cream and wine to alternately, Looting after each addition the thickness before introducing the next figure. Season with salt, pepper and nutmeg. Melt the cheese in the liquid in small amounts, while stirring continuously. Reduce heat to low and to keep the sauce warm until using. Place a large skillet over medium-high heat. Spoon equal amounts of cheese sauce over ham, reserving some of the sauce for later. Place the remaining slices of bread, mustard side down, over the ham and cheese. Grill the Sandwich on each side until the bread is an even Golden Brown. Spoon a little cheese sauce over each Sandwich before serving. Garnish each Sandwich with 1 teaspoon of parsley.
